Meet Dr. Mark White – Pediatric Dentist

Dr. Mark White grew up in sunny Okinawa, Japan and later relocated to Virginia where he completed a Bachelor’s in Biochemistry at Virginia Tech. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) Dental School where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree with an emphasis on Public Health and Advocacy graduating with Pediatric Dentistry honors.

Dr. Mark completed his Pediatric Dentistry residency in 2021 at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital where he received extensive training in treating special needs and medically compromised patients.  He currently serves as an Attending Physician in the Department of Dentistry where he remains active with both the residency program and patient care.

Dr. Mark strives to make every dental appointment a positive experience working with each child to ensure they’re as comfortable as possible.  He is passionate about teaching both children and parents how to maintain a healthy smile, striving to make every dental appointment a positive experience. He pays special attention to ensure both the patient and parents are involved in creating a fun environment to learn about and improve their oral health and places an emphasis in prevention in practice.

He enjoys traveling, studying languages and exploring world cultures! He is always finding new and exciting adventures in and around the city of Chicago. He is excited to meet you at Bauer Dentistry and Orthodontics!
